The best things in life are free. I had plans today that I was really looking forward to but had to cancel because I simply couldn't afford to do them. But at the time when I would have been enjoying the highlight of the day today I was giving my son a bath instead. He's a fairly smiley boy and has a wicked sense of humour for a three year old, but every now and then he'll do a real belly laugh and it fills me with joy. It's hard to explain but I guess parents out there will be able to empathise with me. It just makes everything else insignificant. And the best thing is that it's free!
