Monster Mash Up

So as I already mentioned, Steph sent me the 'Monster Mash' October kit. It's on sale now from the Indigo Mill shop. It has masses of papers, embellishments and goodies in it and I've loved working with it. This week I'll be sharing my LOs that I've created with the kit.

I could not wait to get my hands on the 'Monstrosity' range from Sassafras and I was not disappointed! The monsters are pretty cute! The photos I chose for this LO were taken in August. We were leaving the house when Connor spotted a slug and said 'Take my picture Mummy; he's my friend'. No sooner had I taken his photo than he said 'I'm going to stamp on him now!!'. Hence the title 'What a monster!'. The actual paper from Sassafras was a little busy and blocked for me so I cute a few monsters out to use on the LO. I tore a piece of patterned paper and inked the edges and then stuck it on to a piece of cardstock. The monsters are tucked in to this torn area and raised on 3D squares to make them look as if they are coming out from the page. I'm loving the report cards from Jillybean soup.
