Getaway!

I am a little tired today. The reason being is that I couldn't sleep last night! I was too excited about this weekend :) In about three hours I'll be arriving at Theobald's Park for the 8th GoGo Getaway and I can't wait. I can't wait to see my fellow team mates, the delegates and to unveil the classes that they'll be taking over the course of the weekend. Over the weekend delegates will take seven classes. Here are some sneaks of all those classes;

I'm teaching three classes this time around, 'How Tweet! How can you resist', 'Life's a Beach (with a capital 'B')' and 'Through and Through'.

If it's anything like October's Getaway there will be a lot of laughter, a lot of creativity and not a lot of sleep. If you're joining us this weekend I shall see us there, and if you're not then why not book for 2013? It's one experience everyone should have :)

Scrap365

I am very excited today! One of my layouts is in Scrap365 and I wasn't expecting it so soon :) I was a lovely surpirse. My article is starts on page 50 and is the new 'Embellish it!' feature that Katy has introduced starting this month, along with 'Thrifty Scrapper'.

Check out the Scrap365 blog today for details on a freebie!

We're going on a bear hunt...

Okay, so I have a new favourite ScrapaGoGo kit and it's March's 'Happy Hive'. The minute I saw this month's stamp I thought of treasure hunting. And then I saw the bee and honeycomb shapes and that lead me to bear hunt. Connor and I had a lovely afternoon walking at the nature reserve opposite the house. He loved that I let him walk in all the mud and walk through the water. And at the end he had honey sandwiches with his teddy bear :)

I really love the alpha. It has really nice stitching on and I decided to draw stitching between each of the hexagons on the layout to tie it all together. I cut some circles from my pizza box and tied the twine around it in a bow, and hand cut some leaves too.
